Packing
Packing can be quite a challenge for all of us whether we've traveled a lot or a little. A few things to consider:
- How much bulk or weight do you want to carry?
- What is the weather likely to be and is it changeable?
- Could you change your itinerary part way through your trip thus needing other cloths types?
- Could you unexpectedly need something rough, smart or elegant?
- Could un unexpectedly need rain gear?

Quick Tips
Prepare for the unexpected heat, snow, rain etc. For example the rockies are famous for unseasonable weather, who would thnk? These days we think it is true of everywhere - so be prepared.
You really can get away with less than you think. Save your back and your patience. Don't lug extra cloths, shoes or miscellaneous items you may not use. We have discovered minimalist packing and have never looked back.
